Cathy Miao is a sophomore at Cornell University studying computer science in the College of Engineering. Cathy is passionate about data science and machine learning, as well as their practical applications to other fields. She's also passionate about enhancing accessibility in STEM education, which she works towards through serving as a teaching assistant for Cornell's Girls Who Code chapter. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing and watching soccer. As a mentor for Ursa Majors, Cathy hopes to inspire others to discover their passion for STEM.
